Biloxi Family Gets Modular Home
Three months ago, Mississippi lawmakers reduced the sales tax on modular homes. The hope was that a three percent tax instead of a seven percent tax would be an incentive to solve Mississippi's housing crunch. Yet, when WLOX News contacted the five cities in Harrison County Wednesday, we found out that about 60 people have become modular homeowners since the hurricane. One of those people is Linda Hornsby. Her modular home showed up Wednesday morning. Brad Kessie has her story.
