GULFPORT - St. Peter's-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church has decided to stay in downtown Gulfport, and for that reason, 'We knew we had to reach out more into the community,' the Rev. Edward O'Connor said Tuesday. 'This is part of that effort.'"

I'm still trying to figure something out... I don't know maybe I'm missing something... But hundreds of millions to billions of dollars have poured into the Gulf Coast region for 'rebuilding' and 'recovery'.. Yet the only stories we hear of actual homes being rebuilt are from church groups and volunteers. And it has been this way since August 2005... Remember we heard about millions of dollars of aide rolling into Pascagoula - but the only relief we got was from a private individual who rented a semi - and from a church?

Where is all this money going? WHERE? And at what point is someone else out there - someone not from Mississippi (i.e. someone that people will actually listen to) - going to stand up and ask that question???

Funny Anita, I am blogging on the subject and many other subjects of course. I guess it is because you and I are living it and will see things the same way.
