The Saints

By now all of you know that the New Orleans Saints lost to the Chicago Bears. We in Mississippi have always loved New Orleans and their Saints. They were on a losing streak for about forty years but we were there for them, win or lose. Many fans would make a statement by sitting in the bleachers with paper bags covering their heads. I would laugh but I understood why. This time they almost made it. It was easy to see that they gave up when they realized that they couldn't win. They won all the way to the last play off and ALMOST fell into the Super Bowl. That's something to be proud of!

"GEAUX SAINTS"!

Now we have to watch the Super Bowl for the commercials only! The snow beat the Saints yesterday, we had pretty much the same weather here and it is horrible stuff to be in. It physically HURTS to have that stuff stinging your skin, not to mention having to be slammed into and hit by the other team. Just to be sweating and to feel that cold is painful. And they were wet from the snow melting on their bodies. If the game would have been at the Dome, I'm sure the results would have been different. They'll be back next year, more determined, more experienced, and more sure of themselves. The Saints can become a dynasty and a new "America's Team". Who dat say they won't? Jeanne

Thank you Jeanne ... it was sad to see them lose after going so far. It would have been great not only for New Orleans but the entire state of Louisiana and definitely Mississippi. I am with you on Who Date say they won't win next year?
